Recognition of Sections A & B examinations of IEI by MHRD
The above Writ Petition, filed by IEI in Delhi High Court on 27 May 2013, came up for hearing on 30 Jul 2015 before the Joint Registrar. UGC has filed its counter affidavit. The joint Registrar has given IEI four weeks time to file its rejoinder. The next date of hearing is fixed on 10 Sep 2015. The interim orders will continue.

Hi all of my dear friend I think now we can say AMIE has been Recognition as per AICTE/UGC/MHRD after watching this public notice. I think it is celebration time for us and I think it is a pre DIWALI gift.

AMIE holders are now eligible for Teaching roles in Degree Engineering colleges under AICTE Gazette Notification in this regard has been issued by AICTE Member secretary dated 06 January 2016.This has been approved by AICTE through gazette notification as given in the attachment under item 67 page 31.

AMIE /IETE/ICE/IME Recognition update:
AMIE/IETE/ICE/IME(I) court case was heard today. The judge directed UGC, AICTE and MHRD to specifically submit their views regarding recognition of our courses.in the next date of hearing fixed on 24 Oct 2016. In the meantime IEI can also send its representation to them (AICTE) for this purpose.
